Dear Reader,

This is too good to not mention this morning.

Vitaliy Katsenelson has an opinion piece at MarketWatch called This is Your Brain on Bitcoin.

Nothing we haven't covered before. Speculator's fever piece.

What deserves special mention, however, is the subtitle to the article. ?Fear of missing out is driving the rush to ?millennial gold'.?

Bitcoin as ?millennial gold.? Perfect. Perfect to the point we're upset we didn't think of it ourselves.

Those who grew up Internet-connected went and made their own gold. The world changes. Moves on. What could the implications be for real gold?

A brief look at your recent feedback:

?I like the idea of cannabis stocks, but I don't know which are the best ones.?

In one sentence, that's a good representation of the cannabis letters we receive. We'll touch base with Ray Blanco and report back.

Tell us what you think. Write to, TheRundownFeedback@AgoraFinancial.com

Your Rundown for Monday, December 4, 2017?

CVS Just Changed Healthcare Forever

Cover of this morning's Wall Street Journal, above the fold, news that CVS Health Corp. (NYSE: CVS) is buying health insurer Aetna Inc. (NYSE: AET.)

Forget the price paid. Forget the possible red tape and roadblocks.

Health plan administrator marriages to transactional, point-of-sale, brick and mortar health care providers is a good thing.

The explosion of ?urgent care? centers in the last decade was the first step.

The rise of ?tele-medicine? in the last five years was a second step.

This CVS / Aetna deal is an important next step, and the opening shot in a revolution that could fundamentally transform healthcare forever.

But we don't want to overstate our case.

Seriously, this is huge news. Good news. Thank goodness. In the healthcare space.

Imagine getting what you need, when you need it, cost-effectively.

Common cold. Sprained ankle. X-ray on a jammed finger. Diabetes drugs.

Aetna has a treasure trove of patient data. CVS has almost 10,000 physical locations all over America.

What we're predicting is an end to long wait times, struggling to get an appointment, three minutes with a doctor, and all the rest.

If you have a stroke, you go to the hospital. You see a specialist immediately. You get the care you need.

Short of that, you go to CVS.

That's the future.

To varying degrees this morning, The New York Times, CNBC, The Washington Post and others are all arriving at this same basic conclusion.

Game changer.

If, and we need to recognize this, Big Healthcare or the Feds don't find a way to torpedo this deal.

Because as you know, the status quo, especially in healthcare, is very lucrative.

Here's the last six months of CVS.

CVS

The Amazon-ization of everything is good for consumers. Point and click, get what you need.

It's also good for business, good for consumers / patients. It's efficient. It's the future.

Taking a look at the markets this morning?

Market Rundown for Mon., December 4

S&P 500 futures are ripping higher this morning, up 16.25 at 2,660.

Oil's off $0.59 at $57.77.

Gold. If Bitcoin is ?Millennial Gold? what is gold? Old gold? Real gold?

Call it stuck in a rut.

Gold's down $6.90 this morning at $1,275.

One Bitcoin goes for $11,314.

DealBook says this morning Broadcom's likely to begin a push to replace Qualcomm's entire board. What was once just about money is turning hostile.

Talk with you again on Wednesday.

Sincerely,
